We met Rachana and Garrett last year when we did their engagement session. An incredible couple. They love each other so deeply, and there’s so much love between them—we honestly haven’t seen anything like it before. We shot their winter engagement session and created phenomenal photos in downtown Chicago. We visited multiple locations: the Wrigley Building, bridges, and Fulton Market.
The ceremony and reception at the Grand Geneva Resort
This is our first time shooting a wedding here. Lake Geneva is an upscale destination, and it’s a privilege to work here. It’s about an hour away from Chicago but located in a different state—Wisconsin.T he wedding lasted for three days, and the first day was really exciting. In the morning, there was the Haldi ceremony. A lot of family and friends attended, and everything was in shades of yellow. It ended with water and color splashing. We barely managed to escape without getting soaked and covered in color ourselves! 😊
The first evening was reserved for the Sangeet, which took place at the Chalet Wedding Venue. It was a secluded area surrounded by nature, and we took full advantage of it to capture some amazing photos. The second day was dedicated to the Indian ceremony. There was a lot of preparation, and the ceremony took place at the Pavilion Wedding Venue. It was a very emotional experience. The third day was reserved for the American ceremony, with the bride dressed accordingly. In the evening, there was a reception where the bride changed her outfit once again. The reception was held in the Grand Ballroom. We took advantage of the golf courses and lakes to capture stunning couple photos. Highly recommend the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa!
